The Stromme Foundation was created in 1976 in order to pursue the achievement of the Norwegian minister Olaf Stromme.

From 1960, Reverend Stromme devoted his life to underprivileged people in the Third Word. He devised a new method of fundraising which led to financing numerous development projects.

The Stromme Foundation is a nongovernmental organization aiming at meeting all human needs. It supports numerous programs in agriculture, health, water access and hygiene, education and cottage industries.

The Stromme Foundation does not take direct action in the field. It supports Third World NGO’s in the implementation of their development projects. It exclusively funds projects that have been drawn up in close collaboration with the populations concerned.
