Both Dankassari and Cesson-Sévigné have been actively involved in the second convention of the Franco-Nigerien cooperation, which took place in Niamey from October 14th to 16th.
The Dankassari rural commune was represented by its mayor, Assimou Abarchi.
Cesson-Sévigné was represented by Marie-Françoise Roy, President of AESCD and by Michel Coste.
RAEDD was represented by Mahamadou Saidou, national coordinator, and Mamane Chadaou, in charge of monitoring the decentralized cooperation.

The Mayor of Dankassari spoke on access to water and sanitation during a panel discussion in the following communication.

The convention was followed on Friday 17th by a meeting including the representatives of Cesson, the Mayor of Dankassari and the persons in charge of the various municipal services, as well as several representatives of RAEDD. Thus, the implementation of the actions listed in the 2013-2016 Dankassari Development plan was assessed, to everyone’s satisfaction.
